NOV. 3, 2018 | Over the last four weeks, we’ve traveled more than 3,500 miles, visited 12 states and interviewed 130 people. Our last day on the, ahem, hard road was in and around West Chester, Penn., where we met seasoned public policy strategist Eric Schnurer, an opinion contributor to U.S. News and World Report. He provided a historical perspective about past elections coming to present, including the notion that Democrats have been successful when elections are about economics, rather than social or cultural issues. .
We also talked with two Republican voters who are unsettled by America’s increasingly polarized body politic
