As Halloween approaches and passes, the crew will be talking with people in the Rust Belt sections of West Virginia and western Pennsylvania.  Then we’ll head to the new economy areas of eastern Pennsylvania. The loss of old-school manufacturing and extractive industries have taken a toll on Rust Belt workers, who backed Trump to turn the state from blue to red for the first time in decades. The team will visit western and central parts of the state in areas left behind by the digital economy, which finds its home in the eastern part of the state near blue-friendly Philadelphia.  The state also is home to one of the biggest battles for the future of the U.S. House of Representatives.
